About me

My name is Barbara Ewa Lassak. I have many years of experience in creative, technical, and sales-related work. My greatest passion lies in media, design, and photography.

Since 2008, I have been working as a graphic designer and photographer—both as an employee and as a freelancer, specializing in event and wedding photography.
Since 2020, I have also been working as a CAD draftsman, gaining experience in the construction and engineering sectors. My skills include working with programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and Allplan, as well as advanced use of Adobe Creative Suite and Corel Draw.

I have also gained practical experience on construction sites and in planning offices.
I have completed numerous industry-specific courses and am currently continuing my studies in the field of media and marketing as part of a part-time program alongside my professional work.

I am a versatile, ambitious person focused on personal development and remain open to new challenges. I combine creativity with technical precision, which enables me to work effectively in various fields—from design and marketing to sales and customer support.

I speak Polish, German, and English fluently, as well as conversational Spanish.
I look forward to taking on new projects and collaborations, both in creative and technical environments.

PHOTOGRAPHY – why is it so important?

Photography is invaluable because it captures what is most precious yet most fleeting in life – emotions, feelings, and moments that psychology describes as ephemeral. Our minds often retain only fragments of experiences that become distorted over time, while a photograph can preserve their authentic character – a glance, a gesture, the light, the atmosphere.

A photo thus becomes not just a document, but an emotional imprint of a moment.
Through photography, we can return to moments that have shaped our identity – a wedding, the birth of a child, family gatherings, or even everyday scenes that only gain significance with the perspective of time. It is a bridge between the present and the past – something that not only reminds us but allows us to feel again.

In psychology, it is said that feelings are fleeting and that the human mind quickly adapts to new situations, causing even strong emotions to fade into the background. Photography, therefore, takes on the role of an emotional anchor – it evokes memories, brings past experiences back to life, enables reflection, and often helps us understand ourselves better.

This is exactly what makes photography so valuable – it bears witness to what is most important to us, even when we sometimes cannot find the words for it.

As a photographer, I have many years of experience, supported by completed training and photography courses in Poland and Germany.

Photography is much more than a profession for me – it is a passion that accompanies me every day. Wherever I am, my camera is always by my side because I believe that special moments can happen anywhere.

I have had the pleasure of photographing not only in Poland but also abroad – in Spain, Italy, and Denmark. I have taken part in numerous weddings and events, both private and corporate (for example, in hotels or at promotional events).

I love photographing outdoors and capturing love in all its forms – the love between people, but also the passion that connects artists, musicians, friends, families... and of course, animals.

The aesthetics of architecture are also close to my heart. I greatly enjoy photographing building facades and interiors to capture their atmosphere, details, and unique character.

I regularly turn to professional literature and continuously develop my photographic perspective on the world – with heart, mindfulness, and respect for every story I am allowed to tell through my images.

Photography – My Passion and Profession Since 2008

Photography is much more than just a profession for me – it is a way of seeing the world and capturing fleeting, meaningful moments.
I am a trained photographer with many years of experience, having begun my journey in 2008. Since then, I have conducted photo sessions in Poland and abroad, continuously developing my style and allowing myself to be guided by the emotions that can only be captured in a split second.

My areas of specialization are:

Wedding and event photography – focusing on natural, genuine emotions
Portraits – both outdoors and in the studio
Family, children, and newborn photography
Application, business, and branding portraits
Architecture and interior photography (hotels, apartments)

I work with a professional Fuji system, using four cameras, various lenses, flashes, and I have a small home studio that is perfect for intimate sessions such as family, children, or business portraits.
I don’t just take photos – I tell stories with light and emotions. I pay attention to details, atmosphere, and the comfort of the people in front of my lens. Each session is a personal encounter for me, and every smile is the most valuable reward.

CAD Drafting Professional

A CAD draftsperson is a specialist who creates technical design drawings, primarily in industries such as construction, architecture, engineering, or manufacturing. They work with programs like AutoCAD, Revit, Allplan, and Rhino, transforming the concepts of engineers and architects into precise plans, schematics, and documentation.

My CAD Experience

My Experience as a CAD Draftswoman – Where Technology Meets Creativity

For several years, I have been working as a CAD draftswoman, executing projects in road construction, underground infrastructure, green spaces, and building facades. My work goes beyond technical drawings – it is active participation in projects that combine functionality with aesthetics.

I have had the opportunity to contribute to projects for IPE Schwäbisch Hall, including:

The construction of modern bus stops,
The redesign of street systems in the Schwäbisch Hall area,
The planning of sewer and underground systems, such as the new piping system at the hospital in Crailsheim, where I also completed internships,
As well as the creation of cemetery, promenade, and green space projects, during which I also completed internships in landscaping in Paderborn.

At Gebrüder Schneider, I was involved in facade projects, including:

Aluminum facades of the new BBC building in London,
Facade elements for the thermal baths in Oberstdorf,
And a wooden facade for a school in Kempten.

This wide range of experience has taught me to combine technical precision with creativity – to organize my creative mind while contributing my own ideas. I often use my skills in graphic and 3D software (including Rhino, Adobe, Revit) to create project visualizations, tender documents, photos, and videos that enhance the visual communication of the companies I work with.

My role often goes beyond classic “line drawings” – I create content for social media, design company calendars, and support brands in their visual and promotional efforts.

TD Handels GmbH
Graphic Designer / Product Photographer
2015–2020

Developed the company logo and the complete corporate design.
Created advertising graphics, product, and fashion photography for the website and social media channels (Instagram, Facebook).
Conducted hollow-man (ghost mannequin) shoots as well as model photoshoots for the sub-brand Diva Jeans.
Designed the logo and produced product photos for the brand Rexoo (household, everyday, and fitness products).
Produced product photography for the subsidiary company Exotex.
Independently managed all materials – from concept development through execution to retouching and online publication.

Collaboration with Clients and Institutions (since 2007)

Employment Office Tarnowskie Góry – Created graphics, photographs, and drawings for informational and promotional materials.
VHS Crailsheim – Designed advertising flyers.
Small businesses in Poland – Designed flyers and graphic materials to promote local shops.
Created concept sketches, e.g., for board games (Turysta w Rzymie), children’s books (Baby Handzeichen), as well as drawing and painting commissions for private clients.
IPE Schwäbisch Hall – Designed Christmas cards, calendars, and promotional materials, as well as photographic documentation as part of my training.
Hostess and promotion work at BTL Advertising Agency – Creative activities with children (drawing, face painting, conducting workshops).
Internship at a kindergarten – Organized artistic activities for children, made costumes and decorations for performances, and conducted drawing and painting classes.

Fashion

I have many years of experience in retail within the fashion industry, gained in stores such as New Yorker, UPS! Carry, and the Woha department store in Germany, where I worked in the women's clothing department. My responsibilities included not only customer service but also visual merchandising—designing sales areas in line with current trends and brand strategy. In 2015, I completed a Visual Merchandising course that deepened my knowledge of product presentation aesthetics and brand appearance.

From 2015 to 2020, I collaborated with Diva Jeans, a company selling women’s and men’s clothing. There, I was responsible for styling and product photography. During photoshoots, I stood out for my creativity in outfit selection, always ensuring alignment with current youth fashion trends. My experience combines sales, visual, and photographic skills, making me a versatile specialist in the fashion retail sector.

For many years, I have also been involved in fashion modeling, which for me is a way to express my style, mood, and personality. Style means more than appearance—it is a way to communicate personality. Additionally, I run my own lifestyle Instagram account, where I share my passion for fashion, travel, healthy living, and photography. The account is followed by over 10,000 people. Although it is not focused on collaborations, it serves as a creative space where I can share memories, inspirations, and everyday life with others.

Project Plant

Since childhood, I have felt a deep connection with nature. Curiously, I explored various plants, took an interest in mushrooms and herbs, and walks in the forest were as natural to me as breathing.
I loved walking barefoot, swimming in lakes and rivers, grounding myself, and drawing energy directly from the earth. Healthy, ecological nutrition has always been important to me. For many years, I have avoided meat products (occasionally eating fish) to care for both my body and our planet.

Living a life of health, activity, and harmony with nature has become my everyday reality—I exercise, go to the gym, spend lots of time outdoors, take supplements mindfully, and pay attention to movement and recovery.

I have completed a fitness and wellness course, attended hypnosis workshops, and participated in herbal medicine classes in Crailsheim. Starting in October, I will begin a new project—training in herbal studies to deepen my knowledge and better share it with others.

I want to inspire others to adopt a healthy lifestyle and show that nature provides everything we need—often free of charge, during an ordinary walk. My dream is for everyone to benefit from nature’s abundance.

In the future, I plan to organize courses under the name “Project Plant,” combining sports, meditation, herbal medicine, as well as humor and lightness (because what is leisure without laughter?)—something for body, soul, and senses.
We will learn to connect better with ourselves, discover what nature and its energy can give us, and integrate this natural wellness feeling into daily life to handle stressful situations more effectively.

I firmly believe that the most valuable things lie right in front of us—in the forest, in the meadow, in our breath, and in the movement that nourishes both body and mind.
