My
Story
My experience as a CAD drafter - technology meets creativity
For several years, I have been working as a CAD drafter, realizing projects in road construction, underground infrastructure, green spaces, and building facades. My work is more than just technical drawings—it is an active contribution to projects that combine functionality with aesthetics.
I have had the opportunity to participate in projects for IPE Schwäbisch Hall, including:
-
the construction of modern bus stops,
-
the redesign of road systems in the Schwäbisch Hall area,
-
the planning of sewage and underground systems, such as the new piping system at the hospital in Crailsheim, where I also completed internships,
-
as well as the development of cemetery, promenade, and green space projects, supported by internships in landscaping in Paderborn.
At the company Gebrüder Schneider, I was involved in facade projects, including:
-
aluminum facades for the new BBC building in London,
-
facade elements for the thermal baths in Oberstdorf,
-
wooden facades for a primary school in Kempten.
This variety of experience has taught me to combine technical precision with creativity—structuring my creative thinking while also contributing my own ideas. I often use my knowledge of 2D and 3D graphics software (including Stratis, AutoCAD, Allplan, BricsCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, Adobe, etc.) to create project visualizations, tender materials, photos, and videos that strengthen the visual communication of the companies I work with.
My role often goes beyond traditional “line drawings” – I also create content for social media, design company calendars, and support brands in their visual and promotional activities.
